The vision of SAVIC is to improve the health of future generations by strengthening immunisation programmes and services

Our mission is to increase knowledge on vaccine-preventable diseases, and improve the quality and sustainability of immunisation services in Africa through research, education, training and provision of technical support

In order to achieve this, SAVIC advocates improved education and training in the fields of vaccination, immunisation programmes and services, and the dissemination of information on the epidemiology of vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs), nationally and abroad
